All of the RS 302 Speaker Stand Range are manufacture by the craftsman at Custom Design. The hand made and finished design includes 4mm welded inserts combined with M8 fixing bolts for total integrity. Hand polished steel plates and support columns reflect the attention to detail and standards of quality that Custom Design provide to all of their customers, we are manufacturers.
Custom Design are proud to present this Award Winning Range. The RS 302 Speaker Stand Range provide substantial strength with integrity and are the second model of the RS 300 Range.

By combining the twin 76mm steel support column design with medium mass 4mm steel top and base plates, Acoustic Top Plates supplied as standard, or 6mm Clear Glass base, manufactured and toughened to British Safety Standards ( BS 6206 ), Custom Design have designed an eye catching speaker stand with the initial mass of 14kg, without filler or final mass of 26kg when loaded with the recommended amount of Inert Filler per pair, resulting with an award winning speaker stand support.

The RS 302 design provides significant initial mass and final mass, when combinded with Acoustic Top plates reduces vibration noise significantly for an improved preformance and sound quality (see inert filler and Acoustic Steel Graph). The system works on the principle of constrained layer dampening, which is two sheets of the same material, found to be the most efficient, bonded together with a patented polymer. The polymers viscoelastic properties convert kinetic energy to heat. It absorbs noise vibration and prevents resonance from transmitting through the design and influencing the stands sound performance.
